To the poster asking how to use it in win 7 64/ hard wire printer to pc (usb) then right click over the adjprog.exe and choose 'run as administrator' then run program as per instructions worked a treat on mine and i'm 7/64.

Thanks very much! Really free and working. If you need to service other parts of the printer as well, the relevant service manual can be found in this forum: http://www.printerknowledge.com/threads/links-to-service-manuals-post-them-here-sticky.5071/page-9 just ctrl+f for tx720

Love all you guys who make those service manual and adjustment programs free and open.

Works fine for me. I have Epson PX720WD. Ιnstead of 6 step : Select Waste ink pad counter you must select in program : ->Particular Adjustment Mode->----Maintenance----->Consumables maintenance counter->Initialization (this will reset counter)

My Nearly 7 year PX720WD finally gave up the ghost but after 3 cycle resets. All using 'non approved / dangerous compatible cartridges' with no problem.
So the only conclusions I can come up with are
1. The quality of various compatible cartridges are superior
2. Epson miscalculated the life time of the printer
3. Profit... New printer.

Happy to have saved money and help save the planet! £75 for pack of 6 inks. I paid £4. Must have saved over £1000 on ink not Inc 3 replacement printers.Another £500.

BTW replacement was XP-860 can recommend. Smaller, lighter, faster more input options, to touch screen, still CC printing, WiFi and ADF.
Plus compatible cartridges allowed after nagging from Epson.

Imagine your Ford car not starting because you did not put Ford oil in the engine, or Esso petrol in the tank...

Keep up the good work and updates for newer printers.

PLEASE....
